Stayed here for a long weekend in Switzerland. Fantastic hotel, very clean and very friendly staff. Breakfast is beautiful. All and all this hotel is perfect. We stayed at the back of the hotel and was a little street noise, but nothing that bothered us. Great bar, restaurant and steak house in hotel ... really a great gem of a place. Room 412 has great balcony (not best view) but nice and private .. would stay in that room again ... great there.

Room Tip: Room 412 was nice room at rear of hotel (front hotel rooms overlook the Munot), but this was a great room with large balcony.

The location is ideal, being within the heart of the old town. Our room overlooked the Munot fortress.
The room is clean and the breakfast is what one expects from a three stars hotel.Staff at the front desk were helpful.

Room Tip: Room on the top floor with balcony.

Though it's more of a historical artifact than a luxury property this hotel was perfect for us, in part because of the very accommodating staff in both the hotel and the adjacent restaurant. Just off an 8 hour overnight flight from the USA we were able to go straight to bed at 11am in our third floor room with a direct view of the imposing16th century Munot fortress on a nearby vineyard clad hill. While we slept Corinne (the very helpful desk clerk) volunteered to feed the parking meter outside which required renewal every 2 hours until 4pm on weekdays and Saturday (free Sundays). She also arranged our evening dinner reservation in the hotel's restaurant which turned out to be exactly to our tastes. You may need a bit of help finding the hotel which lies in the center of a fascinating old town and right beside St. John's Church with its melodic frequently chiming bells. The rooms are simple but well laid out and the beds are very comfortable. With lots to do in and around the town you may not spend much time indoors anyway. It's an excellent location from which to sample the shopping on a couple of old cobbled streets that host a range of modern and ancient stores that are well patronized by residents, and when viewed from the castle, the scene look like a fairytale medieval town as it might appear in a classic children's book.

Had a single room with all the appropriate items. I'm a business traveler so the desk was large enough, access to outlets, and wireless worked perfectly. It was quiet in and out, very clean, a well stocked mini bar. Easy use of the shower and plenty of room in the bathroom. Downstairs is a great restaurant with an excellent menu. From fish, to pork, beef, chicken, and vegetarian dishes. Great salads also. The variety will satisfy anyone culinary desire. Presentation is impressive as well. Very nice. Breakfast is typical with all forms of meats, cheese, cereals, eggs, toast, breads, spreads, etc. Their location is in the 'old section' with wonderful shops to keep you busy. You won't be disappointed. Will certainly stay again.

Room Tip: Keep your room card on you as it also let's you back in the hotel at late hours.

Definitely different and pleasant. The hotel makes you go back to the reality of a small boutique hotel of a village, in a good way. Rooms are basic with all the necessary tools for you to spend 2/3 nights for you business trip. The hotel offer also a good local restaurant, contemporary cusine and a bar. I would definitely recommend this place
