After surviving pickpockets in Paris & Rome, the four of us (2 couple) were shocked by a 35 CHF charge for a small pot of Chinese tea. Our dinner consisted of 4 main dish along with 2 small bowls of rice & tea for 161 CHF. Chinese tea is normally served free with meals in most Chinese Restaurants.
See attached cash receipt, tea was the most expensive item.

We were traveling in a group of 4 and 2 of us wanted some rice dishes. We ordered 1 order of fried rice and 1 order of chop suey for the 2 of them and we ordered a pot of Chinese tea to share (Typical Chinese restaurant will give you a pot for 4 person to share). The food was reasonably priced for the area and taste okay (around 37 CHF), but the tea cost us 35CHF. So just be aware that boiled water is extremely expensive here.

We were hanging out for Chinese and couldn't believe we found one so good at such and affordable price in Switzerland. About 40-45 francs for two people including 1 beer ir Chinese tea . We're in Interlaken 4 nights and ate there 3 !!! That's how good!! Yum :) don't miss the sczeshwaan beef !!

We were desperately looking for a restaurant that can provide rice dishes. Since it was before the usual dinner hours, crowd present inside could not be a decider. However, we saw a big group sitting inside and entered. Finally it turned out to be a good choice. The Soup, Fried Rice/Noodles and Chicken Schezuan was tasty. By the time we left, not even a single table was empty!!
Go for it, if you are in Interlaken.

The atmosphere is not much to talk about but the food was very good. It reminded me a lot like the restaurants in China Town in New York that I went to frequently as a kid. In fact just like then we were the only "gringos" in the place. It was packed by both local and tourist Chinese. It is located in an area that our cab driver one night described as the China Town of Interlaken and about 1 block off the main street.

The food was authentic, well prepared, plentiful, and great tasting. Service was also very good. If we were in Interlaken again we would stop in again for sure. Our total meal with appetizers (2), main course (2), rice (2) and drinks came to about $40.
