The views from this hotel are spectacular. They will shuttle you back and forth to the train station is needed. The staff is friendly and is eager to help. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and clean. The terrace is a great place to hang out especially if you have a room with no view. Very good breakfast and a nice welcome drink!

Stayed here for 2 nights in the middle of a walking holiday to the region. Excellent location with stunning views down to the Lauterbrunnen valley and of the surrounding mountains. Just a little way downhill out the town which made it quieter. The food is excellent here. Very good service. We were offered a complimentary cold drink on arrival and chocolate on leaving. A nice touch. Hotel in need of a little modernisation but this was not a problem. No TV or fridge in room. Wifi available for free. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed in 208, a corner room, that had a postcard view of the valley. Simply stunning view! Hotel Bellevue is away from the noise of the town yet an easy walk. Our room was clean and comfortable. Judith was most helpful and even made us sandwiches each day as our adventures started before the breakfast buffet. We would definitely return to Hotel Bellevue.

Room Tip: Corner rooms with south view are awesome!

Friendly, helpful staff. The rooms on the south side have incredible views of the valley below, several waterfalls, and the mountains. Great buffet breakfast. Dinner is served in the restaurant and is fabulous. Would definitely stay here again.

The short review is that after a lot of soul-searching we selected to stay in the Bellevue and we are glad we did.

We arrived at Wengen Railway Station without much of an idea where the hotel was. We soon found the hotel phone on the platform and dialled 20 for the Bellevue. In no time at all we were collected in a souped-up golf cart which delivered us to the hotel in moments.

The route to the hotel is up a hill and down the other side. A relatively easy walk of 10 - 15 minutes but not great with luggage.

We were shown the check-in counter where we were cheerfully greeted and given a glass of orange juice. Nice touch.

And that's the story of the Belleview, lots of little nice touches which add up to an overall excellent experience.

When booking we opted to pay extra for a "room with a view". We took the nice but slow lift to the top floor, unlocked the double outer doors (another nice touch) and were greeted by the best view in Wengen. Alps straight ahead, view straight up the glacial valley of Lauterbrunnen below. After looking around Wengen it seems the Bellevue has the best view in town.

Other nice touches. Double glazing. Windows and balcony door are double hinged so can be swung from either bottom or side. Guest lounge with view. Separate bar area. Outside courtyard. Great plumbing and water pressure. Spotless. Two small desks, three chairs in room. King bed with individual quilts were comfortable. Great continental breakfast and plenty of it. And of course, the people are very nice.
