Amazing find! Service is very personal, food is incredible without being over the top, rooms are great, wellness centre is perfect after skiing. The owners and their whole staff are attentive, personable and very welcoming. This is a must-stay for Zermatt.

We spent an absolute fabulous week in Zermatt at the Europe Hotel & Spa. The hotel is immaculate, the staff extremely accommodating and the food spectacular! Lovely breakfast buffet. The dinner menu amazing. Great salad buffet!
After a day skiing, great to be able to relax in the pool and spa area.
Only minor inconvenience is that you are not directly on the slopes. Either a 10 min walk or 3 min bus ride to get to the Matterhorntalstation.
This is a great hotel with great people, especially the owner. We had a small problem at check in but the owner stepped in and made everything much better than could be expected! We had a wonderful stay. We also must mention the wonderful food. Both breakfasts and dinners were excellent!
The Europe must be one of the friendliest hotels I’ve ever visited. The owner Rudi (of the ubiquitous Julen family) is always around and beaming with bonhomie. This rubs off on the staff and the result is a gorgeous boutique hotel which feels family-run. The newer designer rooms are smart but the older more traditional wing is equally comfortable. Faultless and relatively good value for Zermatt. We plan to go back next year.
Lovely hotel in a beautiful area! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Zermatt and the Europe Hotel and Spa was the perfect place to stay! We particularly loved the sheep theme running throughout, the helpful staff, excellent breakfast selection, spa area, cosy bar and dedicated ski room!
Gorgeous boutique spa hotel in the centre of Zermatt. Helpful staff and beautiful spa. Our suite was just gorgeous. Highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast was very complete with lots of choices. The hotel taxi was waiting to pick us up at the station.... it was all perfect.
