Had dinner here one Sunday evening when the weather was pretty unpleasant and yet the restaurant was FULL which is telling you something.!! The food was very good and the service attentive but not overpowering. The menu changes frequently which is necessary as it is somewhat restrictive but the objective is to serve quality food sourced locally and to favour local produce. Nice dining room with a terrace outside for the summer months. Everything we were served was very good , well prepared and innovative - certainly not run of the mill. Can definitely recommend this restaurant as being worth a visit and two of the staff used to work at Denis Martin's restaurant in Vevey which is where some of the inspiration definitely originated. There are a couple of menus available but you need to be really hungry in principle before ordering them. The pricing is fair for the quality of the food served up. A real find and we will be going back there for sure.!!

We walked down through the forest among the drifting, multicoloured leaves of the autumn day towards the abbey hidden in the surrounding trees. When revealed it is a modest abbey, many times remodelled with a typical Vaudois home on the edge of it - this is the restaurant. Full at lunchtime, with walkers, families, groups of friends, it is definitely necessary to book. and the food? which is what one goes for after all......eat game at this season, locally sourced (as are most of the dishes on offer) prepared and recounted (!) by the staff with lltove and knowledge, this is definitely fine dining. I admit to feeling critical of the staff - very efficient and knowledgeable, but rather cold in approach. and to be super critical, the dessert was somewhat bland: but what an autumn meal it was!

It's clearly a hidden gem for those in the know. In a converted abbey, the dining in the terrace was very charming. Cuisine was inspiring and heart-felt. Service was solid. Food was Delicious. Go for the set course!!! Would go again and again!!!

Have lost count of what has been served but the dishes are creatively done and presented. They use local produce and ingredients, 100% organic. pricey but largely matched by excellent service and atmosphere and good food. For dinner, outdoor seating for aperitif and first few courses before adjourning indoor when the temperature dips.

We were traveling in the Lausanne region and found this very nice, charming restaurant at this Abbaye. Very interesting architecture in a mountainous location. We opted for daily menu - graciously creamy prepared potiron soup and super tender calf tendon with a fantastic red wine semi sweet reduction and deliciously buttery purée!
