This is a nice spot to relax and chill in front of lake Léman and the mountains. There is also a lot of restaurants and shops around and a nice walking path besides the lake.

The view is amazing around the lake with the tulips and the boats in it. The background view was so adorable, mountains covered with snow. A must visit boat tour.
In Le Port d'Ouchy for a conference, and what a stunningly beautiful place it is. The lake is very picturesque, with beautiful flowers planted all the way up the walkway. Olympic museum really good. Nice outside bar on the lake with reasonably-priced drinks. Metro station exit looks over the lake. Great pubs (white horse pub - for food and drinks) and restaurants (creperie worth a mention). Most of all, the air is fresh, the view is great and life seems good! Just beware of the cycle lanes - cyclists are very fast and the pathways are narrow in places.
if you are in the middle of the city, you could take the metro down to Ouchy station and cross to make a fine walk near the lake...you will enjoy the fine scenery with the mountains on the back and the French city of Evian on the other side of the lake. In the wintertime with snow on the mountains, the air will be a little fresh.
When the weather is nice Ouchy is a great place to visit. The views across the lake are amazing and there is a good selection of restaurants in the area to grab a beer or get something to eat.
This green oasis South of Lausanne, is a wonderful place to spend a day on the quays of Lake Geneva. Almost like a 3 in 1 deal, it offers numerous activities for everyone: there are 3 parks/gardens, the Olympic Museum, the promenade, the rose garden with amazing arrays of rose bushes. Countless numbers of locals and tourists come here for walking, cycling, swimming, skating, picnics etc. We went before lunch and the park was not busy, but the number of people increased slowly but steadily throughout the day. Beside the lake (which is like a sandy beach), there's a big swimming pool too. On the lake, there's also an organised area with slides, floats and other inflatables, where children (and not just them), can go and have fun. This is well run as there's a certain number of people allowed at any one time, for ~45 min. This session is included in the park entry fee.
There's also a good number of strolls and other areas free of charge.
