Eint replaces opened mid September in the former premises of a pizza place called Siena. It provides seating across two floors, in a very modern design. We very much liked the comfy chairs and the setting.
Service was good and fast, perhaps a bit too fast. We went through a three course dinner in 90 minutes, a bit slower would have been fine as well. We had their excellent beef carpaccio, followed by a osso bucco and an aged steak. For dessert, we ordered their home-made Linzertorte. All was very nice, I would not recommend their risotto, though, and would prefer the osso bucco compared to the steak.
They have a nice wine list, most tables around us ordered a bottle of wine from Montenegro that seems to have been recently featured in a newspaper review. We had wine by the glass, a nice Argentinian wine served from a Magnum bottle.
We would definitely come again. For Zurich, the design is refreshing and the service is truly excellent. Prices are normal for Zurich, perhaps a bit on the higher end.
