Lovely summer evening. Got to the visitor centre about 430 with a view to walk down and cross over to worms head at low tide. The crossing, with the dog took about 20 minutes each way and was not easy going if you are not so steady on your feet but it was worth the effort and was fun to do.

Walk along the national trust path. Car park free for members or £2.50 if not nt members.
The beach is ranked 9th in the world.

From the car park all the way to the coastguards hut the views are quite stunning. Take a camera (wide angle lens if you can) to get some fantastic images.

This hotel needs a revamp,It a tired with sticky tables with the varnish worn away by repeated wiping .You would think that at the start of the season it could be nice and clean but no ,the ladies toilets smell like a men's urinal,
