It is very confusing that Tripadvisor has put a link to the Holland Pass on this page, since when I tried to book that I found out that it has NOTHING to do with the Reypenaer Tasting Room. The people at Reypenaer were very friendly and helped me make a booking through them- you can make bookings by calling the store or on the Reypenaer webpage.

Now I have a Holland pass that is completely useless for this, so I'm a bit upset about how misleading this was. Reypenaer does not do bookings through tripadvisor so I really don't understand why tripadvisor has put the option to buy any tickets at all on this page

Reypenaer was fantastic! We loved the cheese tasting there, Eric our cheesemaster was incredible and so full of information. We will definitely be back for cheese!

Dear Moorea H,

Thanks a lot for your detailed review and kind words! We've tried to get rid of the whole Holland Pass through Tripadvisor, but unfortunately they won't help us out...
We're still very happy to hear you had a great time and Eric is indeed incredible.
Hope to see you in our tasting room and shop again someday!

Regards,

Bo Butter

My husband and I visited Reypenaer whilst in Amsterdam and did the cheese tasting. We didn't know what to expect as we love cheese but have never done a cheese tasting before. It was very good! The lady we had was very lovely and quite funny and made for an entertaining time. The cheeses (6 in total) were paired with white wine, red wine or port which suited the cheeses perfectly. As people who didn't know alot about cheese aging and subtler tastes in the cheese it was a good course to do to learn the basics. Quite enjoyable and ended up buying lots afterwards!

We had a very nice 1-hour cheese tasting with an excellent hostess at Reypenaer. The cheese is top-notch, and it was coupled with very good white wine, red wine, and port to complement and augment the aromas. One of the highlights of my trip, and very cultural.

Thank Ashley L

My husband & I loved this experience. We booked a 1630 session and it was a sell out. Our host was funny, very well informed & engaging. We tasted six different cheeses and a white wine, red wine and a port. It was fun to experience how the wines brought out the different flavours of the cheeses. The port was potent stuff!! Loved it, well worth the money and a fun and relaxing way to spend a hour and rest your feet.

Attended the Reypenaer Cheese Tasting presented by Eric. My daughter & I loved it. We were given a score card in which to take notes and grade the cheese. Eric’s passion for his job was evident in his presentation. He could answer questions and keep our interest completely. The tasting included wine pairing which was an added bonus. It is close to Anne Frank House if you want to attend after your visit. You do need to make a reservation though. Highly recommend the event if you are visiting Amsterdam and enjoy a great cheese and some wine!
