We have returned from a 4 nght stay in the red room which was a
fab room, the bed was so comfortable that we had trouble getting out of it. Carlos made a gorgeous breakfast with as
much tea or coffee as you wanted, also he would make the
coffee as strong or as weak as you liked. The red room overlooks the canal which was nice. The room also comes with a
microwave, coffee maker and small fridge,we had clean towels daily and fresh flowers in our room. We would have no hesitation recommending Sunhead everyone there is really friendly
and nothing is to much trouble for them would definetly use again if ever in Amsterdam again.

We stayed in the yellow room of the sunhead B&B for two nights in october. The room is beautiful. Infact, I liked the room so much that I am thinking of decorating one of my rooms in that style. The bed was comfortable and large enough for the two of us and our baby to sleep comfortably in. The yellow room does not have a canal view, but this didn't bother us at all as we saw plenty of canals in Amsterdam when we were outside. Once inside, we personally didn't care for canals. We were also provided with wholesome and heavy breakfast in the morning. This included bread, cheese, eggs (made differently on the two days), juices, fresh fruit bowl and the best coffee I have ever had in Europe. You can also ask for tea if you prefer tea over coffee. There was some meat too, but since we are vegetarian, we wont be able to make comments on it.

Finally, a few words for our host, Carlos. He is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast felt like a family gathering. Also, since our train was at 5 in the evening, he let us have the room till as late as we wanted at no extra charge. Thank you so much, Carlos. This really helped us especially with the baby.

I highly recommend the sunhead B&B to anyone who wishes to visit Amsterdam. We enjoyed our stay and would love to go back if we go there again.

The apartment was great. Location very convenient for restaurants and the train station. There is also a small grocery store nearby for food/supplies. The apartment is very large and although the living room area faces the street (you get a bit of street noise), the bedroom is in the back and there is very little noise. The stairs to the aparment were very steep and narrow, as they tell you. The apartment did not have air conditioning or ceiling fans, which would make it quiet warm in the summer.

The owners were wonderful and very helpful. We were traveling with a 17 month old and they did not have a baby cot for us. I asked if they would be able to secure one for me and they did. There is also a playground just on the other side of the West-Indisch Huis (apartment is directly across the street), so smaller children can play.

We don't think we will return to Amsterdam. We enjoyed our visit and seeing the major museums/attractions, but we didn't find it as picturesque and charming as other Europen cities.

We arrived at the Sunhead and what a wonderful warm welcome we received upon arrival. The room we stayed in on the 1st floor was simply the best and decorated with some beautiful art pieces. The Sunhead is clean, neat and tidy with delicious smells roaming from the kitchen. Carlos (the owner) was so friendly and helpful and gave us great advise on what to see and do in Amsterdam. The Sunhead is the place to stay when in Amsterdam it has such a warm atmosphere. Carlos you are brilliant and Trish & I will definitely recommend people to stay with you. Mind blowing - Baie Dankie

Heavy A'dam occupancy forced me to drill-down and find Sunhead. What incredible luck as I couldn't find a nicer place regardless of the circumstances.

The Jordaan is blessed with quiet, charm and lots of great cafe/restaurants. Sunhead fronts the Herengracht canal and is very stylish.

The Salmon room is first floor (1 up from street) and features a large, comfortable bed, rich colors and asian motif. The private bath (tub/shower) is very adequate.

Roelf-Jan and Carlos took good care of us and Carlos' breakfasts were the best of our trip.

I'll stay here again and you should, too!
