The Keizersgracht was well worth the boat trip to view the amazing architecture around central Amsterdam - highly recommended.

Walk along the canal, enjoy the seeing the homes in the area. Very pretty. Between the small boats in the canal, the bikes and the people walking the area, you know that this is people friendly area.
We truly enjoyed just walking around.
Great place to take pics, the bridges of Amsterdam. They're beautiful and provides great shot opportunities.
If you're on foot, keep an eye out for the bicycles. You don't want to be run over!
There are so many canal to see and explore but historically this canal has some of the most magnificent buildings that it seems as though all the canal tour operators take you thru here. A canal cruise in general is a must for this vibrant city so sit back, relax and enjoy.
Amsterdam is on of those cities that you must spend at least a week in to get to see and feel the wonder of this special place. I always make a point of coming to the Emperor's Canal. It is part of my experience to shop, eat and stroll near this canal. I'm already planning my return for an all girls trip.
Best way to take in the beauty of the houses lining the canal rings without a thousand tourists bumping into you.
