Such a unique and fun bridge to find and cross. Usually crowded with people doing selfies. During the day it is fun to check out but at night it is quite spectacular. The lights make this a special picture.

It's a generic tourist spot, and like most bridges, it's interesting - but mostly only in a way that Amsterdam's full of little bridges and that's its one of main charms. If checking out main tourist attractions is your thing then go for it, otherwise do something else.
The Magere Brug is one of many beautful bridges of Amsterdam. The lighting does add quite a lot of character to the canals at night. This bridge offers a lovely view of Amsterdam and its canal houses.
Amsterdam has 1280 bridges according to the Guidebooks for 100km of canals yet this is the iconic one for romantics. It is narrow and used by cyclists and pedestrians.Everyone takes a photo beside it.My generation remember it in a James Bond film "Diamonds Are Forever".It is fun to see the drawbridge going up.The myth about the bridge is just that but you hear it on every canal cruise! It looks better illuminated at night.
This is to Amsterdam as the Eifeel tower is to France! it is a cute narrow bridge that does not impress much until you know more about its importance and history. It is also nice at night when the lights illuminate it. You can see it from boat trips or if you want to walk on it you can go there by foot from the Hermitage Gallery.
The 'skinny bridge' is on the river Amstel near the locks that help regulate the water level in the canals. To reach it: take any of the four main canals direction the river.
