Perfect centrally located apartment by a beautiful canal, close to transport links & attractions.
So convenient in walking distance to lots of cafes, shops & places to eat.
A very quirky & arty apartment, a little unusual but this added to our experience of Amsterdam.
It was also comfortable, cosy & peaceful & great to have a quiet courtyard garden.
Thanks to Ann Marie who was lovely, friendly & a perfect host
We really enjoyed our stay at Anne's apartment. Check inn/Check out went without problemes, she was very nice and let us leave our bags in the entrance for pickup later.
The apartment was as showed in the picture, with a beautiful little garden and a boat to relax in.
Anne M was cool with joints, just not to many due to neighbors. Good to know If you enjoy smoking; it is (atleast) 12 coffeeshops within 10 minute walk.. yeah we had a great time
Location on Prinsengracht, right in the epicenter of the canal belt, is conveniently in walking distance to the old center and all important attractions in Amsterdam; also near to Jordaan quarter with its lovely streets and cafes. The apartment is easy to reach by bus from the airport, just 5 min walk from the bus station, we also discovered a supermarket on the way.
We were delighted to experience the charm full ambiance of an historical building and get the local feel. Anne is a great host and very considerate with her guests, she let us keep the luggage until our late flight.
The apartment has all needed amenities, including a kitchenette, comfy bed and mattress and a lovely and quiet garden to have your coffee in the morning and chill out after a busy day in the city.
Good value for the money, warmly recommend!
Great little basement flat,a little strange as there are lots of collectable items inside but after a night you get used to it. We did not spend much time in the flat so did not bother us much
Location is great, there is everything around andyou can easily walk to town or to get transport links
Anne is friendly and a great host.
The apartment was a delight. Located in a lovely area of Amsterdam and full of character being in a traditional canal house. The courtyard at the rear of the apartment was a real bonus for a quiet drink in the evening after a busy day site seeing. Anne Marie , the owner, was great. She was very helpful and on hand if needed without being intrusive. The location was ideal for site seeing as most attractions were in walking distance and local amenities were a short distance from the apartment such as the supermarket which was well stocked with fresh goods.
What a wonderful, quirky apartment. We absolutely loved this basement apartment and can’t wait to return.
It’s in a great location on Prinsengracht, in the heart of the beautiful Jordaan. The apartment is wonderfully lit, with lamps giving the impression of candlelight. The bedroom opens out onto a small garden.
The bathroom has a lovely large bath, which has internal windows that open out into the bedroom.
There is also a sauna (I kid you not).
There is also a separate kitchen, stocked with tea and coffee, a refrigerator and microwave. Everything you need for a perfect stay in Amsterdam.
Oh, and there is also a small boat moored in the canal, which is perfect for just sitting in and watching the world go by.
Everything was great with the apartment. The shower was a bit awkward for someone who is tall (like me), but the shower did the job intended with a little imagination.
Great location to wander through the Jordaan.
