The staff were all very helpful and courteous and the rooms were of a high standard. We had comments like “this is the best hotel that we have stayed in” (we have been doing these trips for about 10 years now). Also we had some very favourable comments regarding the two evening meals that we had. (based on a group of 52 people visiting)

Room tip: All of the rooms were of a high standard - and the sheets are all very white

Not really something special, a hotel you go to when you just have to stay one night. probably like it is planned. Good thing is the location, near two motorway's , and still no noise from out side. Dinner is OK, breakfast is kind of poor, but price is OK.

Well, it's just a Campile... But this one is extremely clean and modern. It may be in the middle of nowhere but the parking in huge and the environment is quite and perfect for a nice dog walk (a lot of grass spots).
As we travel around Europe attempting dog shows, finding dog friendly hotel is very important. Staff here was very helpful and welcoming. And everybody speaks English.
Amersfoort is at only 1/2h from Amsterdam and hotel rooms are 1/2 the price.

Another no-frills, basic hotel. It's location is a little out of the way, but Amersfoort is easily accessible via the motorway. Hubby had to attend a conference in Amersfoort, hence this hotel.

What's Good --> Free Hi-Speed Wifi, Clean and Spacious Rooms and bathrooms with an excellent hairdryer. I know it's a small thing, but I'm fussy about my hairdryers! Bathroom had a timed heater, you can heat the room before entering. That was great because it can be uncomfortable stepping onto cold tiles in the bathroom. The bed was excellent! Campanile has a small eatery/cafeteria beside the lobby serving reasonably priced food.

Minor Complaints --> We stayed one night and it was unfortunate but the hotel was understaffed. There were about 6 filled tables in the cafeteria but only 1 server, Diego. And he was tending the bar too. So there was a long wait. But I have to commend Diego for being pleasant and apologetic about the entire situation, and even though we had to wait 45 mins for our food, we did it without complaining because of him. Jody, the receptionist, seemed a little brusque at first and quite curt when talking to us, but then we realised after a while, that she too may have been too swamped with work.

We requested for a late check-out because I wanted to stay back while hubby went for the conference. Only setback was that we couldn't request for it upon booking. They could only confirm after we checked in whether it was okay to purchase a late check-out, and that was a hassle.

But all in all, it was a comfortable stay and I especially loved the Free Wifi!
