I enjoyed this tour a lot. It is part of the tour my husband and I took that included the Madurodam and this Royal Delft Factory visit. I liked the pace, it is not too fast and there are moment where we stopped to watch the artists do their craft with the porcelain products. At the end of the tour, you are free to check out the finished products at the shop or just sit and relax.

If you did not know about Delft Blue, you will now. Truly beautiful but also historical. Go and see these non China miracles...

This is a very interesting museum and exhibition of Royal Blue Delft artisans at work. The ubiquitous Delft ware is made in a very unique way. The museum showcases some interesting pieces and uses of Delft. The tour ends in the shop, where you see all these gorgeous pieces that few of us can afford. Fortunately, there's some pseudo-Delft pieces that are more affordable.

During our recent visit to Amsterdam, we decided to go and visit Delft, a small Venetian style town well renowned for its Delft Blue production. We wanted to have a look closer to this production, so we decided to visit the museum. It was really interesting to understand how it all started, more than 4 centuries ago. The tickets give you the possibility to see two movies explaining you everything. Then you go through exhibition rooms where you can see the painting taking place, the various pieces produced over the various ages and you can have a look to the factory itself! At the end a nice shop and a Brasserie where to sit and drink something.
