2nd time at the Hotel and as always a great service. Friendly staff along with its unique atmosphere of an older hotel but with modern furnishings. Sure I will be staying there the next time I am in Rotterdam on business.

Room tip: Go for a seaview room if possible.

It`s an excellent hotel placed in historical building with an amazing view in front of it. Its interior is build all about marine theme so If you fancy sailing or marine history you should enjoy it. It has a cozy restaurant which is a little bit noisy but that only adds to its charm. Rooms are decorated individually so every time you could be surprised. The staff is very helpful if you need something.

The New York is a unique hotel that should charm lovers of history. It is located in the old Holland America Line headquarters and celebrates its history as an embarkation point for a wave of immigrants coming to America through Ellis Island. Everything about the hotel says history -- from the industrial style lobby, complete with old suitcases and other memorabilia, to the books about the building's history placed in the rooms. The main bar and restaurant are lively for locals and tourists. And,the hotel faces the water, affording lovely vistas. It is far from your typical cookie-cutter hotel. A unique and special spot.

Once again I had the pleasure to visit Rotterdam through work and to stay at Hotel New York having a relaxed drink in the bar with some business partners and afterwards dinner at the restaurant.

Relaxed and efficient at the same time plus super service minded staff once again gave an evening of pleasure.

Room tip: Book according to your price and add a comment to the staff. They will call you

For business i was a few days in Rotterdam. And went to this hotel, its a nice old building with a lot of history. The room i had was very big and had kind of an industrial look. Te personel is nice and helpful. And the restaurant is super. But good te reserve a table on some days of the week, because it can be crowdy.

I really enjoyed my stay.
