We stayed for one night in a room on the 11th floor. You have a great view of the city and nearby bridge. The room had a double bed and we made use of the sofabed. At arrival we asked for a babybed and this was delivered within 10 minutes. The front part of the room including the bathroom is separated from the rest of the room. It is possible to get dressed with a bit of privacy from the rest of the room, outside of the bathroom. The room was very quiet. The minibar had 1 bottle of complimentary bottle per stay. I found it should include one for each guest in the room or at least the adults. We we're a family of 4 and had to share 1 bottle of SPA water. To get more drinks you need to go down to reception. To operate the lift you need your room key, ensuring that only guests can get up to the rooms. We also had breakfast for €19.50 for adults and free for kids. It includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, toast, different kinds of bread rolls, an assortment of spreads and also some donuts and sweet bread. Everything tasted great.
Parking spaces are limited, but free. You get a parking ticket to exit the parking lot, when leaving.
The hotel is also right next door to Erasmus University and hogeschool van Rotterdam so perfect if you need to be there.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Arrived late - room had a bad smell and A/C wasn't running correctly - very noisy. Bedsheets were dirty - bathroom had bodycream on the wall and no clean toilets. Toilet"brush" looked like it was from the romans time... very disgusting...even after a complaint - only the bedshets and an spare A/c was provided.. still a smell of foul air was in the room.service at the restaurant was very poor - no apetizers, long wait for ordered drinks - uninterested staff members

This property has it all, almost. A five star service rating for the check in and check out people, and an amazing wait staff person from Surinam (tall and with glasses) who should be a professor of hospitality because he works quickly, accurately, and is personable. The fitness room with its 17th floor view is wonderful. A walk to the metro is pleasant.

The AM buffet is perfect, except for the wait staffers who served us. The first day, a full buffet day, a ?new? person told us where to sit, did not give us an option to prepare our own coffee, and stood next to us for about half the meal.
The next morning another staffer rushed us to decide between the full buffet and a half breakfast. Treated like children by someone at least twenty years our junior, were had no choice between a slice of ham and a slice of something else, no choice of yogurt flavor. Unpleasant.

Room tip: All good; the higher, the better

Nice hotel close to Erasmus University and not far from City center. Ideal if traveling by car and looking for a place to explore southern Holland and Northern Belgium. Comfortable room except for sofa for third person that should be better.
