This Ibis worked well for us. It felt comfortabe and cosy and was well located. The rooms are quite small and there is not much shelving/drawers but the room is well designed for the size. The bathroom is built into the room but the shower was good. I think the rooms are small for the walk in rate charged but if you book in advance you can pay less.
The buffet breakfast was very good value with yogurt, some fruit, meats and cheese, a couple of cooked items and nice bread and pastries. Other than maybe a little more fruit (one day there was only apples) it lacked nothing we could have wanted. On Sunday a woman sang and played the guitar which made a nice relaxing start to Sunday and not something I had come across at any other hotel.
There is building work near the Ibis at the moment so if you stay on a week day and have a side facing room you need to be wanting to get up by 8am. When we came back mid afternoon for a rest the noise did cause us to leave again sooner than we might have but hopefully this work will be finished soon and it can't be heard so much from the front of the hotel.More
