If you are an Escher fan, don't miss this unique museum in the heart of The Hague. Almost all of Escher's work is on display, ranging from his early landscapes and mosaics to his later "impossible" prints. The chandeliers, designed by Hans van Bentem, add a surreal feel to the old palace, but seem out of place in Escher's world. Be prepared to leave all of your items except small purses in lockers while you explore the museum.
