Brilliant location - right in the centre and near lots of restaurants and bars. It was also a few hundred yards away from the 'A Mort Subite' bar (home of my favourite Belgian geuze/beer!). The apartment was lovely - modern and clean with a basically equipped kitchenette. We were facing inwards, so near the air con outlet - the noise of which didn't bother us too much, even with the windows open. The REAL noise came from the plumbing! All the water appears to be pumped (like a shower pump) - not an issue in the day, but everytime a tap was turned or loo flushed the noise was REALLY loud in the bedroom. It may vary depening on the room - and on whether you/the neighbouring rooms (sideways and upwards I'm guessing) keep the same hours. When we visited there was also some major municpal building work going on nearby which decided to kick off at 7.30am - it shook the whole building! On saying all that - I would definitely stay there again! [Following other's reviews - I booked through Eurostar, and then emailed the owners directly for the door codes - they were very polite and responsive].

I stayed in this hotel - located in the heart of Brussels - with some friends a month ago for a weekend and the experience was fantastic! The only reason for not rating it better is because there is no reception. Therefore, everything you need to do regarding housekeeping, extra beds and other issues has to be done by phone. Despite that, everything went perfect: the rooms are tidy and clean, comfortable, spacious and the shower is great!! They have wired free internet at the lobby - for the rooms, you have to pay it separate. Another aspect of the hotel is that they have a great customer service: I had forgotten a polo shirt in the room and noticed only a few weeks later. After sending them an e-mail, which was promptly replied, they sent it to my residence in Amsterdam charging only the cost price of the express mail. Simple things that enhances the customer experience!

Very good location & good, well - sized quality accommodation, at reasonable price, especially if looking for apartment style flexibility.

Rooms not serviced over weekend (which is a disappointment) and just a couple of minor quibbles regarding "additional small touches" that could be included (such as extra pillows & more towels) that would increase property review to 5*

Main issue is getting hold of door entry / key box codes, especially if booking through 3rd party website (such as Eurostar) as it necessary to then liaise direct, which took several emails & a phonecall.

Room Tip: We had good size 1 bedroom apartment (number 34) which was very quiet.

Stayed for a weekend at the B-aparthotel. The location is absolutely great, within walking distance of the Bourse, Central Station and many restaurants and bars. The apartment is very modern and has all facilities to make your stay comfortable like a dishwasher, tv and desk. Would defenitely recommend this place.

We stayed for 2 nights (2 adults and 1 child) in a single bedroom apartment+extra bed.
Cooked breakfast and dinner every day (due to foodallergy problems), eated out for lunch.
The apartment is in the heart of the center, you can move by foot for the majority of locations to visit.

Plus:
- Apartment and the entire building is luxury, clean and comfortable.
- The bathroom is new and clean, with bathtube and separate shower.
- Kitchen is complete of the necessary to cook, plus Nespresso machine, dishwasher, microoven.
- 2 Lcd Tv with satellite channels and Dvd player
- No problems with self service check-in

Minus:
- Check-in time (2 p.m) is a bit late
- Internet Wi-Fi is not for free
- We mailed to recommend for complete kitchen furniture for 3 people but dishes was only for 2.
- You can't store baggages after check out in the building, but you have to get them to the other site in Ambiorix, where there is a reception

We've been staying in this hotel for three days past X-mas. It was great location and we had no problems with not having reception or any other personnel on site. We had our homework done and knew where to go and what to do. The only complain I have is that they charged me for my stay when I was booking through an agency to whom I paid full amount. They also reimbursed me right away but I lost on exchange rate. Other than that I will recommend this place to everyone.

I recently spent 4 nights at the "B-Aparthotel Grand Place" in Brussels, for a business trip. This is not a standard hotel, but it was a good choice. Perfectly located (few minutes from the city center, few minutes from the "gare Centrale" , just few meters from the very nice "Galerie Royale".
The room was spacious and clean, and furnished with microwave and coffee machine. Not a real kitchenette (that you most probably do not need in case of short stay).

Some notes:
- there is no reception, so you must be an "independent" traveler: if you need assistance, this is not the place for you.
- in order to enter the building and get your key, you NEED A CODE. This code is usually sent via email if you book directly through their site, and NOT SENT if you book via expedia or similar.

Thanks to the comments on TripAdvisor I was aware of this code issue and emailed them before my arrival (Reservations <reservations@b-aparthotels.com>): they sent me the code after receiving my credit card details. Be aware of that, or you'll have troubles...

All in all, I'd go back to this hotel.
