Party of 7 friends. I emailed the restaurant in the morning to book, arranged a time with them and when we arrived I don’t think they were expecting us. Despite this we did not have to wait long to be seated and were given a complimentary drink at the bar.
Several members of the group had the beef stew which they all said was delicious but all wished that it had been served with mash as opposed to fries and salad. One person had the veal which was surprisingly served with a sauce and tagliatelle??, this initially arrived cold but was quickly replaced when we spoke to the waitress.
Some had cocktails which were enjoyed and some had gin and tonics which were very strong and must have had at least 3 or 4 measures of gin. Not complaining though.
Overall a very nice meal and would recommend the place.
