“Very good restaurant for a friends night out”
Review of Pampas Rodizio

Pampas Rodizio
Ranked #1,225 of 4,022 Restaurants in Brussels
Description: PAMPAS RODIZIO® At PAMPAS RODIZIO® we try to combine the best of South American cuisine with European tastes and habits. Rodizio is the typically Brazilian way of cooking meat. All different kinds of meat are gently grilled above a charcoal fire so that they cook slowly and retain all their juices. This way of cooking meat was invented by South American cowboys known as gauchos. They roasted their meat on long skewers round a simple campfire. For them rodizio wasn’t just about eating, it was about spending time together relaxing and enjoying themselves after a long day working hard on the pampas, or plains, where their cattle could graze freely and where the beef that we serve (picanha) comes from. DISCOVER OUR UNIQUE FORMULA! Enjoy a delicious mojito or caiperinha, made in the traditional way using fresh ingredients, in a contemporary, inviting setting. Choose from a fine selection of Argentinean, Chilean and Spanish wines. Treat yourself to Mediterranean tapas and meat and fish from the grill, as much as you can eat. Our wonderful homemade desserts or a full-flavoured Havana or Brazilian coffee are the perfect ending to your ‘PAMPAS evening’!

If you are a meat lover, this is a good restaurant for you. We enjoyed a good night out with friends in a good atmosphere and very good food. They have a great variety of meat, different kind of beef, pork, lamb, chicken and we enjoyed the roasted pineapple and the fried bananas.

I reserved online for a surprise birthday party, they confirmed but for a wrong date, so I got back to them and told them that the day I had put in the reservation was another one, they said they had corrected. The day of the surprise party of course our table was not there and they had the booking for the day after. If the night starts like this it's not that nice. Anyway they had plenty of space so they got us a table. The food was really a lot and the meat was ok, good lamb and it is nice that the waiters come to the table with the food that they have to cut directly from a kebab....quite scenic. I would say they have to improve the booking staff, while for the rest it is good specially for birthdays as everybody eats the same things. They have also a fish menu if you don't like meat

The meat was good they advertise sea food, streak, chicken, lamb and a few more. Wish this place had a better selection of sides but I guess going with the fries as a side dish is your best bet. What I didn’t like was how I had to ask several time for a certain meat. It seems like every other meat had no problem making to my table except the streak. I asked my waiter several times where is the steak and he always replied its coming its coming be patient. So maybe next time show a little more interest in what your guest want to eat instead of just bringing them what ever you think they will like.

Today I went to pampas at place Jourdan and i found the meet of the restaurant very good, nevertheless the service was very bad and slow! You pay all you can eat to have what the waiters want to serve you! You wait almost 15 minutes from one piece pf meat to the next one, nothing to do with a Brazilian rodizio! Ah and by the way you can only have one piece of meat at time!
Do not recomend the shrimps, they had a strong meat flavour!

I like the Brazilian concept of dining but the visit to this Brazilian restaurant was a disaster. The waiters were doing their best but most of the time but the meat was almost raw and not eatable, even if I personally like medium cooked meat. The disappointing part was at the end of the night when we paid with cash and we received less money back. The head waiter insisted that he received less money that we put all six people together at the table even if we counted the money twice to be sure. The most disappointing was his rude behaviour.
