I stayed at The Moon with a friend Thursday and Sunday nights and it was fine - the rooms were okay, the beds were a bit too soft, the breakfast wasn't that good, but still okay.

The hotel is quite close to Brussels Central train station once you know which exit to use (Grand Place is the right answer), and if you get lost it's close to the Grand Place as well.

There is a buzzling little square in front of the hotel, with artists and market stalls

While this hotel is not for luxury travelers, I was pleased with the hotel. It met our needs- decent rooms, clean, good price, and GREAT location. Expect to climb stairs to get to the front desk and rooms, but I think that's just what to expect from certain European hotels in general. We didn't spend a whole lot of time in our hotel room so if you plan on kicking back and relaxing while in Brussels this may not be the spot for you. The hotel location was awesome and it felt safe. We were close to bars, restaurants, the central train station, and the Grand Place. The hotel was also a great price for the location! It can be hard to find if you're not looking for it so maybe use Google street view to help familiarize yourself with the location. The only down side is the showers are tiny and can be difficult to maneuver in! Overall, I would recommend this hotel if your looking for a place to keep your luggage, sleep and clean up before heading off to other ventures while in Brussels.

Stayed at this hotel with a group of friends for a short one night stay in Brussels. While this hotel is very basic (no elevators, no A/C, small bathrooms), it's clean, cheap. We had a double room and a triple room. Double room was a standard size for a European hotel, although bathroom was extremely small. Triple room was very roomy with a larger bathroom. The best thing about the hotel is it's location. You can walk to Central Station in five minutes and your around the corner from Grand Place. The area around the hotel is loaded with restaurants, shops and other hotels. Overall a good place to stay for a short trip.

This very basic hotel was perfect for it's extremely central location to the Brussels Central train station and the lower town. The staff were courteous and friendly, allowing us in our room at 11:30 am after our overnight flight. The room was quite basic, but fairly good size, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was more that adequate. Breakfast was in a small room, but the continental spread was really very good, especially the pastries. As noted, we were a 5 minute walk from the train and less than that from the Grand Place. Brussels is kind of a gritty city and 2 days were plenty of time to spend for our taste. Spent a day in the upper town and particularly loved the new Renee Magritte Museum, which is spectacular. Food was great at t'Kelderke on the Grand Place. Great atmosphere in a vaulted room with mussels and frites to match. First taste of Chimay Trappist ale was a revelation. Free WiFi was a big plus. Lots of stairs.

Hotel was clean and basic in a excellent location. I had some difficulty getting emails and confirmations back from the hotel but it all worked out. Located just of the main square (Royal Place) literally 1block or so... easy parking lots of restaurants in the area. Rooms were very small and the hotel has NO stairs so luggage was a issue. Lobby is on the 2nd level and we were on the 4th so lots of stairs with bags was a drag but worth it for the good price and location.

Room Tip: Ask for a low floor

This is the hotel for those who would like to balance location preferences and cost preferences. Nicely locate din the center of the city very close to the Brussels Central station and the evening markets. The town hall is a stone throw away and all the adjoining markets plus the tourist info centre are located very nearby.Personally I would definitely suggest this hotel for everyone of you.
Beware of Pickpocketers in the evening near this hotel.

This hotel is close to the central train station and very near the Grand Place. But the rooms are very small and dreary. The price was very reasonable for central Brussels.
