Friendly staff, nice selection of dishes and a fun food sharing experience. Cosy interior and very tasty food.

The food is great and the girls who explain the Ethiopian eating principles are really nice.
However, the Belgian staff is quite rude - we had a table reserved and the lady almost shouted at us to wait in the doorway until we could be lead to our table. Also, we wanted to share two variety menus between three people and the waiter haughtily mentioned that

This is somewhere to come for something a bit different. Our dinner was served on injura (kind of a thin, savoury Ethiopia pancake) and everything was delicious - we had the 6 dish vegetarian menu and it was great! A really nice balance of flavours and textures. The ambience was also really nice, with it being busy (even on thursday night) but not noisy, and the decor is also interesting without being pretentious. Service was also top notch. Would spend a night in Brussels when passing through just to go here!

We tried here after seeing it reviewed on Trip Advisor. The restaurant is close to the centre, a short walk from the Grand Place and near by are bars for a drink before or after. It does get busy so its worth reserving a table, though it is quite a large restaurant it extends through to the rear of the restaurant. Would recommend to give it a try, we had the the plata that allows you to try several dishes, ( the dishes are set that you receive) you eat by tearing pieces of pancake and using this to pick up the food, we found that though the food was tasty you lost alot of taste eating it with the pancake. Service was not that good, took along time to be asked what we wanted and to get a drink, no explanation about the food when we were asking what to have. The food was nice but not overly special and the service let it down which would stop us going back here.

The most expensive and pretentious Ethiopian restaurant ever - and be sure that you will not find a single Ethiopian person inside.
The waiter will teach you a lesson about how to eat the food by stuffing food in your mouth at his free will. Be prepared to be shocked, stuffed and to wake up with a swollen face the next day because of the excessive use of sodium in the pseudo African platters.
