The building is over 120 years old so you go there with open eyes & limited expectations. It's an OLD building with OLD systems so don't expect anything fancy. It's definitely a great experience for art & history lovers. I had a lot of heavy luggage so for me it was a bit difficult to take all my luggage to the 1st floor. Moreover, it's a LODGE not a hotel so don't expect any bell boys or support staff to help you out. There is no telephone in the room to directly call the reception so you have to go down every single time, in case you need to talk to management.
The management is more than eager to help though and they are very courteous. The breakfast spread was very good and satisfying.More
