Thank you Phillipe for a really fascinating day. It was a great way to spend the day with my daughter – she is in training to be a history teacher so she found it very relevant to her work. It is also of course an essential part of anyone’s historical and moral education. It is so very moving to see all those gravestone and the small personal messages written on them. Such a waste of life.
Thank you for being such a great guide Phillipe.

We went on the tour on Good Friday and thought it was excellent. Phillipe is a walking encyclopedia with the amount of knowledge he has. The tour was done at an excellent pace and nothing was rushed. The lunch you receive at the museum is very good (Highly recommend the homemade pate).

They are incredibly accommodating, we were staying at a hotel in the centre of Bruges and after we called the day before to confirm we were going on the tour and where to meet them they said that they would pick us up or send a pre paid taxi to come and get us. The taxi arrived bang on time and was pre paid for which was a great gesture as we wouldn't have minded paying that ourselves. Overall a great day and highly recommended.

Tour was excellent. Philippe was very friendly and exceedingly knowledgeable. He gave us lots of information about the war in general, not just the sites we were seeing. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand yet very informative. When he found out we were Irish, he took the group to see the Irish peace park monument which was great and gave the tour a nice personal touch. Highly recommend this tour, well worth the money.

Given the weather and the time of year it ended up just being our family (two adults, twin 9 year olds). Jos was a fantastic guide who took the time to ensure our bike's were tuned up and event took our route past our AirBnB so we could pick up gloves for the kids as the wind had picked up.

We did the countryside tour and Jos took the time to stop and explain the various sites along the way including the history that helped form the area. He was very patient with our children and kept the pace of the tour at a level they could handle with ease.

All in all a wonderful experience that we would highly recommend.
