I stayed here with my mum for my birthday and it was great.
The gentleman who was hosting that weekend gave us a tour of the house and some really good tips on nice places to visit and restaurants to eat in.
The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable, the breakfast was nice and you're incredibly close to lots of great attractions in the city so it's very easy to get around.
I loved Bruges - the people were really friendly, the architecture was really interesting, the warren of canals was fascinating and the chocolate was very very good (especially in November when the weather was freezing despite the sunshine)! The beer was also delicious and our final meal at Huisbrouwerij De Halve Maan was really nice.
There are no carpets which is beautiful to look at but a tiny bit noisy - nothing at all to complain about and we slept just fine, but for light sleepers it may be an issue if people are talking in rooms or coming in late.
I'd happily stay here again if I went back.More
