We spent 1 night at Verdi B&B during a weekend trip to Bruges. We had heard of the hotel by word of mouth, though they do have a website. To check in you must go to the Verdi Restaurant on Vlamingstraat, though the rooms are located in a different building around the corner on Philipstockstraat, still a stone's throw from the Grote Markt (main square).
The room we had was unbelievably spacious (room 8)! There was a fake fireplace, couch, bed, TV, and plenty of windows (see photo). The decor is old-fashioned but that's part of the charm. The water temperature in the shower was unpredicable and the linoleum floor was kind of soft and bubbly in the bathroom. Overall the room was clean and linens were clean. We had 2 single beds pushed together instead of a double, which made it hard to be romantic.
Breakfast was included at the restaurant. We'd rate it above average being served fresh-squeezed orange juice, a bread basket, yogurt and plate of ham & cheese slices.More
