I stayed here 3 nights and every single day was excellent! The room was impeccable! Well maintained and clean. They have a restaurant and the breakfast was very good. The hotel staff mede me feel at home, all very friendly and nice. The only recommendation that I can make is that they increase their staff of 1 at reception/check in/out during rush hours. Hotel is so close to everything and just 10 mins from train station by taxi (8 euros). This is my top pick so far at this city of Brugges!

Visited as 2 adults and 2 children in May half term holiday for 2 nights. Travelled via Eurostar to railway station and decided to stroll to the hotel - a very pleasant 20 minute walk for us through the old area past many of the picture postcard scenes but we had small cases we could carry. If you have large cases then get a cab as the streets are all cobbled and not suitable for dragging trolley cases !

Hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of Bruges next to the Town Hall in Burg square. You can walk to anywhere in no time ! We paid for a city view room on the 5th floor so had a great view of the square. The room was in the more modern part of the hotel. There is a small swimming pool on the 8th floor which was great for winding down after a busy day sightseeing !

Breakfast is fine - hotel was very quiet when we were there so we never felt rushed or crowded. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.

We ate out in the evening so cannot comment on the hotel restauraunt. Bruges is very quiet in the evening - all the attractions and a lot of the cafes shut around 6pm so the evenings are fairly relaxed affairs. The best value both in price and portion size are away from the main squares - trust us on this one ! Places charge for everything - ketchup on a burger, tartar sauce on fish, mayo on chips all carry an extra euro or three !

Wifi was great - free and works in rooms ! The hotel also offers an eco idea for IHG members where you can choose not to have your room made up to save the planet and get 500 points. We also had the option of a 2pm late check out - we didnt use it in the end as we decided to spend time in Brussels before taking the Eurostar home in the evening.

The hotel also provides a joggers map with some great routes around the city - a range of distances but great to go and see other areas of bruges and work of that extra waffle !

A good 4 star hotel in a great location. Recommended.

Room tip: Rooms overlooking Burg square, high floor (called city view)

We were a family of four (2 adults and 2 children) who enjoyed our visit to Bruges and our stay in Crowne Plaza for 2 nights. The hotel took all our requests like early check-in, a delayed check out, location of the room into consideration. We had a nice and spacious 2 double bedded room, ample clean towels/robes, toiletries, kettle, coffee/tea etc. The rooms and the shower were very clean. Breakfast at the hotel is wonderful with a varied spread, including fried eggs and hot chocolate for the children. We even enjoyed the small but clean indoor swimming pool and gym, one of the evenings while it rained outside.

The hotel is situated in one of the market squares, and was lovely to walk around easily to the tourist places, restaurants and shops. The cycle hire is definitely worthwhile, would recommend hiring for a day/two to visit all the places around.

We parked in one of the mall's basement car park for 2 nights and was just about 17 Euros, much cheaper than parking within the hotel premises.

The wi-fi connection was great and was a great boon to check out some good chocolatiers and details of places/reviews online.

The rooms are not as sound proof as some of the other hotels that we have stayed and beds and pillows were hard. Sleep quality was not great, and we could hear people moving in the corridor.

But overall a nice place to stay and enjoy the beautiful city of Bruges. Would recommend for families with children.

Room tip: Higher floor rooms

Perfect location, on one of the 2 main squares. I have nothing negative to say about the hotel. Booked online and then upgraded very inexpensively at the front desk at check in. Take a taxi from the train station... too far to walk.

Room tip: Irish pub on the square side of the hotel can be noisy but the town dies down early.

From this hotel, you literally can walk to all the old shops, canals, and cafes. They even have their own outdoor café, which was nice to enjoy a drink. The outside looks "old-world" but the inside is modern.

Room tip: The front of the hotel faces a charming town square, with brick roads.
