We enjoyed our 2 night stay here but the reviews on here have over-hyped this hotel.
Its a pretty building in a small back street in close walking distance to all the main attractions. The reception is small but welcoming and the staff very helpful. Our room was nice but not perfect and had a few teething problems (the trouser press didn't work, sliding wardrobe doors that shreeched horrendously and we couldn't get the temparature right - there is air conditioning but it seemed to remain very warm in the room.) We would of mentioned these but in a 2 night stay it seemed hardly worth it as we spent so little time in the hotel.
For a "luxury" hotel of this price we would of expected a few more extras eg there is a mini bar but no tea/coffee making and the charge for dvd rental is high. Also it should be noted that the building next door is currently being renovated (as of Feb 2012) so you can forget a afternoon sleep as there is constant drilling!)
That said the free breakfast was excellant, the shower wonderful (nice to have a spa bath in the room as well) and the bed really comfortable. They also do free tours of the town which is a nice touch.
