We stayed at the hotel for just the one night. we had three rooms and each varied in size but all had plenty of room. The rooms were a little dated but nothing to much to worry about. One of the rooms we had (A Double) was for two adults and a 2 year old and the owner put us into a better and bigger room at no extra charge which was really nice. The beds where very comfy indeed. It was only a two minute walk in pretty much any direction and we were right in the centre in both of the christmas market area that was going on. Accessability was a bit of an issue, having a push chair we had do carry it up 6 or 7 steps to get into the hotel. They did have a lift inside but the pushchair would only just squeze in with one person, no space for any luggage

Breakfast was nice a traditional continental with everything being topped up straight away.
The best part of the hotel was the owner, he made what could have been a very long hard day easy and looked after us so well. On the 2nd day a member of our party was pretty ill. We asked him where the nearest pharmacy was and when it would open, it didn't open for a couple of hours. We told him the problem and he went into his own personal medical supplies to give us what we needed, which we did replace for him when the pharmacy had opened. We then asked if we could hire one of the rooms for the day and this was not a problem at all. Anything and everything we asked was not a problem to him and we could not be more greatfull.
We only got back yesterday morning and we are thinking of going back already and we will be staying here again

Room Tip: not the best for accessibility

The hotel is in a very good location, only minutes walk from the main market square. Even though it is centrally located it was very quiet, even in the evenings. The room we had, although dated was very clean & the bed was very comfy. The only downside was although the bath had a shower over, it had no shower curtain which made showering very difficult! The owner was very friendly & helpful. All in all we had a lovely stay & would certainly go back to the hotel if we were in Bruges again.

Lovely old traditional hotel, we had a nice big room, warm with comfortable beds. Very cheerful proprietor. Breakfast was a basic continental, with no tomatoes, but not bad. Very close to the belfry which was handy.

The hotel is excellently located, just a stone's throw from the main square and the owner was friendly and helpful.

The rooms are dated and we had a lot of problems with mosquitoes (which aren't necessarily the hotel's fault, but there were a lot when arrived and it would be nice if they'd attempted to clear them out). And the washing facilities leave a little to be desired - had to hold the shower head manually.

There are better places to stay in Bruges, but this is ok if you're on a budget.

The hotel is in the city center and has only nine rooms with good bathrooms and TV. It is clean and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is average. But all you need. It is also affordable. I will recommend to everybody. No need to spend more money in a 4 star hotel.
