Rooms basic but ok. Bathroom in need of some work.
We told reception we had 3 light bulbs out and the TV remote didn't work but nothing was done about it. Breakfast was very basic, on 2 mornings there was a member of staff that topped the juices up, but didn't acknowledged the customers at all, on the 3rd morning there was no staff whatsoever and reduced items available. Main restaurant was closed on nye as we're a lot of bars and restaurants in brugge. Think the hotel was over priced for what it offered.

We booked 10 rooms for one night at the hotel as our "rent-a-crowd" had never seen the Christmas Market. It was very close to the Markets, which was a real bonus. The rooms were very clean, and breakfast was adequate. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to eat in the restaurant, but the word is that it was very good.
As we all enjoyed the whole experience of Bruges, we have reserved 10 rooms, this time for 2 nights. So if you are looking for a great located, reasonably priced hotel, the we all recommend Hotel 't Zand

Just got back from a short weakened break to Bruges with my brother and sisters, and we stayed at the hotel T sand for one night. Have to say it was a perfect location very close to all the sightseeing attractions and with a underground car park close by.
The hotel is basic but absolutely perfect for a short stay and had everything we needed.
The breakfast which was included was really good and great to set you up for the day.also the breakfast room overlook the t sand square so nice to look out on although there was some building work being done in the square it wasn't a problem.
Staff at the hotel all very nice and helpful.
I think it would be fair to say it is a basic no frills hotel but was clean and tidy, and was ideal for a short break to enjoy the Christmas market. None of us had a bad word to say about the place despite some unfavourable reviews and we would not hesitate to stay here again when we come back next year.

Booked 2 rooms for one night. Both of our rooms were good, clean and had everything you need for a nights stay. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were modern, and the water hot. WiFi worked really well. The breakfast was good, and had enough choice to satisfy us. The negatives - no English TV channels and I found it impossible to work out the light switches in the room! Nothing to detract from our stay, and I'd stay here again.

Clean right on the grand place, huge parking garage under square.
Rooms clean and air conditioned.
Nice terrace overlooking square.
No really hot water . We were on the first floor. Very strange light switch system in rooms . Modern but too clever . We had to request from reception to understand how to turn on the room lights. Reception seems to be only manned from time to time . Slow lifts. Very convenient for concerts next door. Square is a huge building site at the moment.
