Booked this hotel based on location and price. The hotel was very functional and the room was clean and well maintained. Good bar, good parking, good free Wi-Fi and excellent inclusive breakfast to set you up for a day of touring. Strong recommend.

Great hotel to stay with a group, very good food, clean tidy bedrooms. Nice bar area, full English or continental breakfast, full evening menu available. Good Parking facilities. Good central location for exploring the Flanders area of Belgium.

We had great expectations of the best western Flanders lodge in Leper but after four days we left totally disappointed with the overall experience. The staff, although superficially friendly are with the exception of one lady at front of house basically incompetent when it comes to dealing with any kind of problem. On the first morning of our stay we informed the lady on reception of the fact that we'd requested a king size bed for the four day stay. It was Valentine's week and we were spending the week together whilst combining this with the opportunity to visit the war graves in Flanders and pay our respects. The king size bed was in fact two single beds pushed together with no mattress topper to even cover the big gap between the two beds. Very romantic with my other half getting stuck in the hole at regular intervals. This initial humour then turned to ultimate disappointment as although we reported this apparent oversight on no fewer than four separate occasions. We received lots of apologies but this was just lip service culminating in one particularly rude lady on reception saying the matter had NOTHING TO DO WITH HER!! When asked when the manager would be in we were curtly informed NOT FOR ANOTHER THREE WEEKS!! so you have a hotel with no manager and no one willing to take any responsability. My advice to anyone considering staying here is simply don't. If you have a problem it will not be dealt with. No management equals no accountability.

We stayed here for two nights to see the memorial places in Ypres and to attend the Last Post which is held every night there. The hotel is fantastic! The room was fabulous and the breakfast amazing! We also had an evening meal which was superb. The staff were amazing and so helpful. Nothing was a problem for them, including organising a taxi for us into the town centre. We will definitely return here.

I really enjoyed staying here during our visit!
The first night we had dinner in the restaurant and it was brilliant.
Breakfast had a decent selection of food, depending on your preference.
Rooms are clean and quaint.
Beds are comfortable.
Iper is a lovely town to visit and would strongly suggest a few days of battlefield site seeing.
