It is hard to believe that the Cathedral was rebuilt following the 14-18 war, the feel is that of a building several hundred years old, if you love Gothic architecture its a must see

Much of the wonder of this cathedral comes from the knowledge that it was utterly destroyed during WWI, it now stands as a defiant response to the futility of war.

I was awed by this cathedral. It perfectly complements the adjacent Cloth Hall. Rebuilt in the original style.

A very beautiful cathedral, rebuilt since the First World War. Has a small but interesting display about the role of the clergy in the War.

A cathedral that was destroyed in WW1, but re-built brilliantly. Worth a look, like any cathedral but not really special. In a good central location, it's worth a look.
