Like so many beaches in this area, it's wise to park higher up the hill. In this case there's no bus to take you down to the beach front and it really is a very steep access......there are pedestrian steps down from the £2 a day car park. ..but this is no place for the elderly or infirm. Otherwise it's a breathtakingly beautiful sandy beach with lifeguard-protected swimming in high season. It is a glorious suntrap and well worth the effort to get there. Refreshments are available from several places on the beach front, there's a shop and public toilets. ....so once you're there you can happily spend quality time without worries.
Clean beach, dog-friendly and a great landmark with the waterfall dropping on the rocks and the sea. Great to see so many families using the beach
Been visiting here for years and always found it a very safe beach. It's also the home of a local sailing club which is great fun to watch. There are very few better places to be on a sunny day: particularly with a snug little pub just up the road and kiosk catering for the children. BEWARE of parking on the yellow lines!
There is a shortage of parking at Tresaith but this could be good as it stops the beach being over busy. Good samds, lots of rocks at the north end, good safe swimming, lifeguards, cafe, shop, wow, also a pub for accommodation, meals and drinks.
Lovely beach, has a nice pub to refresh yourself at if you have walked along the lovely coastal path from Aberporth which also has a nice tiny beach. Both beaches have usual dog restrictions, which is why you go to Poppit Sands for all year round dog walkers!! Great views.Problem with parking, if you drive there it has a steep narrow approach road which has minimal parking spaces, and difficulty turning around, limited spaces in pub car park also!
You could not ask for a better little beach. It has fine, clean sand and lovely clear water. You can also buy drinks and food in the nearby pub, that has great staff.
