From a location point of view this restaurant has the wow factor overlooking the seafront and in a beautifully restored old stone building that's part of the old town wall. We chose our 'menu' from the fresh fish counter which was a nice concept choosing the exact piece of fish that would end up cooked on your plate. We couldn't fault the calamari and tuna starters and our seabass main course was beautifully cooked and so tasty. The service we received was top notch. Unfortunately did not catch our waiter's name but he was super. Despite him serving a busy terrace that night nothing was too much trouble and always with a smile - the best service we received in the week of eating out in Albufeira. Well done A Ruina!

Three of us stumbled upon this restaurant and we were immediately met and time taken to explain their menu and recommendations.
We decided upon sharing a grouper which was cooked to perfection and all through the evening had the service was excellent from the chef to the manager. This is a restaurant that takes pride in its food and doesn't disappoint.

Decided against eating here as although it's situated in an amazing place, there was a lack of atmosphere and no prices on the menu.
