Description: Welcome to the website of Restaurant A Ruina, located in Albufeira, in the charismatic Praia dos Pescadores. To meet us is like tasting the best in the Typical Algarvian Gastronomy. • Using the wall structure from the Tower wich defended Sant'Ana's Door, the restaurant A Ruina is open since 1971 - with Joao and Salome Lazaro: the art of good hospitality, always - associated with the development of Albufeira. With four interior rooms, being one of them an ancient well room, in the Summer you can enjoy the terrace and the esplanada at the beach.

We dined here twice during our visit, on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Both times the service was top notch and the food delicious (we had fish and filet mignon). This was the most expensive restaurant we visited in Albufeira so perhaps it is best for special occasion.

Me and my partner visited here for our New Year’s Eve dinner. We Sat upstairs outside which was beautiful to see over the beach as the night unfolded. Having the heaters up there was very handy as it does get a little chilly up there. I don’t actually eat fish so I had there steak which was beautiful. My boyfriend tried a new fish he has never had before and said he couldn’t fault it at all. The staff were fantastic and I think a restraint of this quality is very fairly priced. I would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning myself x

We were recommended to come here for good seafood, and we are not disappointed! It's a bit pricier than dinners we had other places, but well worth the money. Very nice restaurant, in a building with character. Pick your own seafood and get good wine recommendation to go with the food. I would definitely go there again.
