Whilst primarily well known for seafood I chose a Palacete steak and it was lovely, both the steak itself and the accompanying food. Fish soup was also very nice. Good value food, friendly service and tasty homemade dessert. My wife had pork and clams which was very tasty. Lovely liqueur given with the bill which rounded things off nicely. Location is not too far from the strip but it is a world apart. Very relaxed and traditional. There are also in this area a number of good restaurants so be sure to check them out also.

Went here on our last day of holiday family of seven , and was so amazed how stunning the food was, I tried everyone’s dish and each one was rich in flavour and the texture and Presentation was lovely, the staff was very friendly and helpful , I only wished I knew about this restaurant sooner ,I give it 5 star all the way and the price wasn’t bad either.

Amazing staff, they made sure we had a great time, very friendly and attentive.
The food was fantastic, we ordered the almeijas ao bulhões pato (clams) and the Sapateira (Crab) and wine to share among three (80 euros total).
Best food we had while in Albufeira, will definitively be back next time we are nearby!

Visited restaurant on our first night in Albufeira. We're staying just around the corner In Forte do Vale Hotel (review to follow). This is a very nice family run restaurant with a great selection of classic local dishes. Fish is the main offering as you would imagine, and they do it very well, but they also have a full range of meat dishes as well. Nice ambience and very friendly. We paid around €70 for a shared starter of bread, olives, tapenade, etc followed by the fish cataplana for 2, and 2 good bottles of white wine.
I'm sure we will visit again before our stay is over. The grilled fish looked great with whole Sole, Sea Bass and Sea Bream around €12.
