The location of this hotel was in a quiet street about 500m from the strip. It was a great location for nightlife but not so good for the Old Town. We arrived pretty late and were checked in by the night porter who spoke great English. Reception was bright and well manned but other than some chairs and a vending machine not much going on.
Our room was 304 on the second floor, it was at the back overlooking the pool so we didn’t get bothered by the nightclub over the road (which was only open a couple of times when we were there). Our room had a huge super king bed, dressing table and wardrobe (not enough hangers) there was a TV and mini bar. Our balcony was pretty small and didn’t get much sun.
The bathroom was a shower over bath affair, plenty of towels and some toiletries and hairdryer.
The room was serviced every day, some days everything was changed, others it was just a tidy round. In any event it was enough.
Rooms were pretty quiet. People have commented about the gloomy hall ways and they weren’t wrong… didn’t bother us.
We took the breakfast option which we booked when we got there (cheaper than home) breakfast was served in the small restaurant/pool bar. The options were the same every day, fruit, yogurt, cereal, ham cheese, break cakes then hot food consisting of bacon, sausages, beans, scrambled eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms.
It was pretty basic but did the job.
The pool area was nice enough and there were plenty of uncomfortable sunbeds. We only used it one day.
The location of the hotel was great for the strip and the Praia Da Oura beach (which was the better of the beaches in my mind) but you needed a can or a tuk tuk to the old town. The walk was just too far with nothing to see.
Overall we really liked the hotel.
