Though not open all year round, we were fortunate to dine here. The ambiance is lovely and the food is even better. We had the grilled garlic shrimp appetizer that was fabulous. It was a great place to taste something indigenous to Portugal - the cataplana. What a delicious dish. Make sure to make a reservation because even in off season, it was jammed!

Just had a fabulous meal at A Tasca. The selection of filleted fish with prawns was delicious wish fresh vegetables and salad. The staff were all very friendly and we were not at all rushed. Lovely atmosphere in a well run family restaurant.

We have been here several times before and tend to have the same food. We brought two new friends here on a Tuesday night, having prebooked a table outside. Staff are invariably friendly and chatty. We had the garlic prawns, the fillet steak Chef style and the flambé strawberries, plus a regional red wine. Good value for money and excellent meal.
