We were in Armacao for 10 days between August and September and tried almost every restaurant: A Tasca is definitely the best for seafood!
Everything is fresh and cooked to perfection (I'd recommend ordering for the daily specials, displayed in a little piece of paper inside the menu), and the service is great regardless of how busy the restaurant is. Tables are limited compared to the other restaurants on the promenade, so I'd recommend pre-booking the day before if in August. Cash only

There is an excellent choice of fresh seafood as well as good-looking barbecue.
We ordered shrimp, squid, and mixed fish. My husband and I were pleased with suggested wine.
