We visited La Bella Vita after it was recommended in a guide and were not disappointed. Staff were respectful and polite and the food was delicious. 3 of us had the spaghetti bologneise which we thoroughly enjoyed. Marked down one star as we were given a starter each “compliments of the chef” but were then charged €14 for them. This is a minor gripe as the restaurant was a very pleasant place to eat.

This could be an expensive meal out but, if you chose wisely, you can also have a high quality, more refined, dining experience than many other restaurants in the area. There are excellent value starter options, and the pasta dishes are really very good. Portion sizes were really good also and meant our teenage sons couldn’t finish their pizzas - almost unheard of!
The service is slightly more formal, but don’t be put off, you feel like you are being really looked after.
The final ‘nice touch’ only confirmed this, when the chef came to wish us goodbye with a handshake on our way out. We left feeling like we had had a great experience, and it didn’t break the bank!

We returned to La Bella Vita after a few years ago, this is still a fantastic restaurant with excellent food and service, we went as a family with my Son, Daughter in law and two Grandchildren, our Grandaugter love her meal, even the children's meals were lovely she had ravioli with a beautiful home made sauce. This is a restaurant for a real treat a must if you are in Carvoeiro you will not be dissapointed.
