Good sized room with balcony and bathroom with bath and shower. The bed was comfortable and we liked the old fashioned solid wood furniture. The breakfast choice was good for 6 euros and we liked the bowl of fruit and large bottle of water in the room provided gratis. The AC was excellent.

A lovely small hotel with excellent food in the restaurant. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable and most have a terrace.
The bathrooms have a shower curtain rather than the usual screen but lots of hot water, hairdryer and toiletries.

Room tip: Ask for a beach facing room with a terrace.

This hotel is right on Faro beach. It is clean and has en suite bathrooms and all the rooms we used have balconies with views of the sea. However by British standards it's fairly basic. The bathrooms are small but perfectly adequate.
What makes this a great hotel is the customer service. The staff all speak several languages and are very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. From hiring bikes to advising about bus times to get into Faro centre.
When we came home last week I had left some pots in the room by mistake. I e mailed Carlos at the hotel and he very kindly found the items packed them up and sent them safely to me. I have paid the postage but I believe that this really was going the extra mile. We shall be going back soon.

The hotel is seriously in need of refurbishment. Holes in bathroom wall over bathtub with random taps sticking out. Brown, mouldy, filthy shower curtain. Seriously, is it too much to buy a new shower curtain. Ancient wall sockets. Everything was just old. I paid £51 for this. Never again

Pros : Friendly staff. Close to faro beach and airport. The close proximity to the airport is the only positive

Nice clean hotel, comfortable beds and decent showers, five minutes from the airport and a few steps to the beach. What makes this hotel is the staff, they are a rare find these days, welcoming, accommodating and make a visit to this hotel more like a home from home. The relaxed, laid back atmosphere contributes to a great chilled out holiday. Lots to do in the area, highly recommend.
