The trip to Faro is part of a project of three stays in cities that I have never visited before. Faro completes this project.
I was greeted very friendly at the reception. I laughed a few times during check-in. That gave a refreshing touch. I had a balcony on the marina and could follow the hustle and bustle on the water and in the water (big fishes).
Due to the current pandemic, a rich breakfast was delivered to my room. All employees were friendly and accommodating.More

I spent 4 nights at the Eva Senses Hotel off-peak period and during Covid times. The hotel is beautiful, nicely decorated and perfectly located. I was upgraded at check-in with a nice view on the marina and the room was very comfortable and clean. Both check-in and check-out were smooth, quick, efficient and pleasant. The night-shift receptionnist was really really nice, a big thank you again to him !
I enjoyed my stay overall even though experience at breakfast depended a lot on who was in charge/serving. Once I had a great experience with a kind and attentive staff and the next day I had to wait more than 30' to get coffee and I was served my order after the whole room even though I placed it before everybody else even arrived. Otherwise, everything was really great.

Nice hotel to do any kind of event. Made our wedding there, we were pleased for the quick help and professional staff. The food was very tasty and well prepared! Our guest's where satisfied! Want to thank the Hotel Eva Senses, for all. The view is just fabulous!

The hotel looks modern and well cared, when entering the lobby.. The second view is a bit different:
scratches on the furniture, a double room has only on chair, stains on the wall.
The light concept in the room remains a mystery, either its dark or bright as mid-day. All different bulbs in every lamp doesn't let you feel cosy at all..
Breakfast is not worth telling.. Bread and rolls taste and feel like paper, the cheese and the ham is tasteless as well and the coffee is crap..
Although the personal is friendly and helpful, and the check in by digital devices is very comfortable.
If it was marked as a 3 star hotel, I would have ranked it better but for the named category its not suitable..

However we must inform you that we are a 4 star hotel neither a 5 star nor a 3 star, the ranking of the hotels in Portugal are given by Tourism of Portugal and it is based on a very long check list.
We are sorry that your expectations were higher and we were not able to correspond to those concerning the room maintenance and our breakfast.
We will work in the breakfast for the future and concerning the rooms a renovation of all the rooms were made a few years ago but we will keep taking care of this particular issue which is related to investment.

The hotel is is in a great location next to the marina and a couple of minutes walk to the old town and Faro centre and about 12 minutes from the airport.
The best part of the hotel were the incredibly helpful and pleasant staff. In particular, the manager Eunice and her assistant Tiago.
The rooms were clean and comfortable with a nice view of the marina. Breakfast was good and the top restaurant had a great open view on the sea.

A nice location and hotel for a break. Right on the marina and a hundred meters from the old town, the Eva is ideal. Go for a room on the front and catch the morning sun from your balcony. Good food and friendly staff, even in these strange times. Access to the gym as well.
