Hotel is now called Stay Hotel. Some upgrading has been done e.g new bathroom fittings but bed headboards still say HSM. Hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet. Location is great close to the centre and beside the main pedestrian shopping street. Breakfast is €6.00 and is good value. Fresh rolls and pastries, squeeze your own orange juice and a netspresso type coffee machine. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent location, new rooms, friendly helpful staff, what more could you want.
Room rates are well worth staying here, breakfast is perfectly acceptable (cereals, meats, cheese, breads & pastries)
Had no probs staying here for 4 nights and staff were extremely accommodating when our travel plans changed.

This hotel is very reasonable, €55 for a double room in early September. It is perfectly adequate for an overnight stay if you have a late or early flight into Faro. Being in the centre of town there are lots of restaurants nearby and if you have time to wander around the centre of Faro it is very pleasant. It is probably not a suitable hotel if you are driving into Faro, but a taxi from the airport was €12.50 and took only 15 minutes. Breakfast in the hotel is €6 and quite adequate for that. At least they have an espresso machine so you don't have to have the usual awful hotel breakfast coffee. Breakfast is served from 6 a.m. until noon so that is also very convenient. The rooms are plain, think Ibis Hotels, but the beds are comfortable.

This hotel is in the process of being changed over to Stay Hotel Faro Centro, so we expected some hiccups. It is a very reasonable hotel, that is very walkable to bars, restaurants and the tourist parts. The breakfast is the standard continental for €6 but not great if you are a coeliac, you will find a better breakfast in Faro.

The rooms are air conditioned, have a small view of the Faro rooftops and are clean. Our twin room was of an adequate size and had spaces for two suitcases. There is a 24 hour reception and bar, but not much in line of room services or snacks so stock up in a shop. It's an ideal hotel for an overnight stay in Faro or for a short city break.

Very good hotel for a decent price. Very close to the airport (something like 5km) and you are basically in the very city centre of Faro, close to all the shops and restaurants! Highly recommended for every type of visit. The room and bathroom is very tidy and everything is cleaned on a daily basis. Breakfast it's not that great but still you get fed and you can survive the morning without going out starving.
