The site is very well maintained, the washrooms, loos and washing up facilities are exceptionally good. The swimming pool is very good.

The camping pitches are very small, the first pitch we were offered we couldn't even putout our awning; and we weren't even on the cheapest of pitches. The site is covered in stone granules, making it clean but uncomfortable on your feet without shoes. The staff were ok but not really friendly. There was no free wifi available, although every bar and cafe in Luz offered free access.

The site is also isolated and about 2.5km from the town of Luz and the beach & shops. The town is also down a rather steep hill, which is also uphill on the way back.
If it wasn't for the high cost per night, small pitches and isolated location, we would have given 4-5 stars.

Room Tip: We had pitch 912 which was one of two on their own. However, I believe you have to pay extra to reserve specific pitches.

A really nice campsite with luxury facilities — WC's are among the best I've seen in a campsite, and cleaners are always maintaining it! Our children enjoyed the jacuzzi at the nice designed pool and the kids shows in the afternoon. Well worth the money!

Campsite/unit kept in mint condition by staff that appear to take great pride in their company and their site. We stayed in posh part of site and loved the jacuzzi available to our section of homes. Shop is fine, sports pitch too, but very popular. Location great for beaches around Lagos and also on wilder west coast. Lagos lovely too.

The campsite is about 3 km outside of Lagos and about 1.5km from the beach at Praie de Luz. We stayed in our camper an and all the pitches are gravel- make sure you bring really strong tent pegs because the ground is really tough!
It's a saltwater pool with a jacuzzi and children's pool- no inflatables are allowed and it is a bit on the cold side for me!
Wash blocks have been done out to a high standard and there is everything you need on site- except a bank machine. The nearest one is in the nearby village Espiche, 5 minute walk away.
The plus for us is the local bus service that runs to Lagos or to Sagres in the other direction. Air conditioned buses and almost on time. The bus stop is right outside of the campsite.
Staff are very helpful and friendly and the entertainment staff work tirelessly and do their best.

We were staying in Praia da luz but decided to try the restaurant here one night for a change. It's on the main road but just a 5 minute drive from Luz and open to non residents at the campsite.
We all had the buffet menu which was excellent value with lots of choice for adults and kids and all delicious. There is an a la carte menu too. We sat on the outside terrace where the children sat happy watching the Portuguese entertainment ( too shy to join in the dancing !) and then the live band. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. An unexpectedly brilliant find, would thoroughly recommend
