It wasn't warm enough to swim in the outdoor pool, but mainly good weather, sunny. the 'hotel' was perhaps 300m from the boardwalk at the top of the cliffs where shops and resturants abound. also near to small supermarkets. Lifts to my floor always working, thankfully. Quiet area, room to park outside in April anyway. Car hire available at next hotel along. This had no resturant facilities, but next door did, and many on boardwalk. Seemed like a quiet time of year = good from my point of view. Able to use their computer for games / internet for free. Reception staff helpful.

A nice apartment hotel with all of the basics needed for a stay.
I recommend this place as it have a great rooms with all the basics for a stay in Algarve. The view is amazing from the balcony and the location is near to a beach and just 5 min in car to shopping and restaurants. This is my second stay and I will come again.

The restaurant in the hotel is more of a bistro and the food is basic but reasonable. The prices in the restaurant are also reasonable.

Just love this place! Will be returning this year for the forth year in succession.

Exceptionally clean and outstanding sea views....ask for room 316 or directly above whereby you may take advantage of both countryside and the most beautiful sea view!
Staff have always tried to accommodate us in room of our choice but i recommend emailing them in advance of your stay.

We always go self catering ; facilities are more than adequate.....so quite an economical holiday for families.

We have always enjoyed a quiet ,peaceful stay here. Hotel is close enough to strip but far enough so as not to be disturbed by folks who like a little more party.
In short we highly recommend this hotel and hope to return over and over again.

Many thanks to all staff who have always been more than obliging.

Three of us stayed for 4 nights in a two bedroom apartment. Very spacious, clean, basic accommodation with balcony with seaview. Only. £300 for 3 of us inc. breakfast. Great location above wonderful sandy beach (down 120 steps !). At quiet end of town, 10 mins. walk from bars and restaurants.

Directions to hotel from Booking.com are useless. It's all very well giving street names, but these (apparently) only exist on maps and not in real life. Much easier if on leaving A22 or N125 you head for Portimao, and then just follow brown signs to Praia de Rocha. You'll go through an underpass; past Lidl; under a pink footbridge. Just before you hit the sea (having passed two 16-storey blocks on your left) look to your right, and you will see a large sand-coloured hotel with "President" in giant blue letters on the roof ! You can't miss it.

We'll certainly go back there.
