Very nice road side house, serving tasty food. We enjoyed Lamb, Pork
and Duck breast dishes. ( fish also available ) All plated with vegetables and potatoes. Hearty food, seasonal over tones and good portions. A 25 Euro special set menu is tremendous value we ate goats cheese with walnuts, loin of delicious pork and strawberry cheesecake. The homemade pasta with cherry tomatoes and basil, simple perfection. Relax and take time here is the normal idea. No fast eat it and beat it here.

Picked this place from recommendations in the guest book of our villa. Thankfully we did! After the cafe style meals at other places in Silves this was a different class. Not cheap and if you wanted a plateful of chips to go with your meat you'd be out of luck. Excellent range of freshly cooked food. Superb pork and fish dishes ( the John Dorey and Hake were great). Excellent service by the staff and conversation (if you wanted it) with the Germans owner. So good, we went back for a second visit?
