The hotel was in a good location, but other than that, it was pretty average. It was odd what was updated and what wasn't, like there were hard wood floors, which is nice and much easier to clean, but then in the bathroom, they still have the soap dispenser on the wall in the bathtub/shower and the hair dryer seemed pretty old. The beds were very firm. The breakfast seemed a little lacking as compared to other hotels' breakfasts.

A smaller boutique hotel with welcoming staff, situated in the heart of Punta Delgada. Close to the port, restaurants, pharmacy, china store, grocery store and local landmarks. Interesting city views from your window, nice restaurant, excellent breakfast buffet. A well maintained property with casual homey feel.

This was an excellent choice for my first visit to San Miguel, in the center of the city and easy base to explore. The clerk was very friendly upon my arrival and assisted with storing my luggage until my room would be available at 2. It is a small but modern looking hotel with a good decor and feel and they have two elevators. There is a bar and lounge off the lobby with a computer desk for internet, they have WiFi which was easy to connect to and strong. The room was very clean and a good size with a double bed, which while firm gave a good nights rest. There is a TV and small fridge in the room, stocked with water and soft drinks at cost. The closet was a good size with two clothes drawers and a safe for security. The bathroom was small but felt larger than it was and the water was hot with good pressure. They provide fluffy towels for use and you can request more. The breakfast room located on the lower level and the buffet offerings, while not extensive, provided good enough selections to get your day started and the lady attending was friendly and efficient. There is a courtyard off the dining area where you can relax in the sunshine. The adjacent restaurant on the street level was closed on weekends but the menu looked very good. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and would do so again on my next visit.

Room Tip: My room faced courtyard are so was quiet, not sure if the road side ones are.

Reception staff very welcoming and obliging. Room clean and comfortable. View from window varied and charming. Other rooms have small balcony (for extra charge) and would be great for longer stay. Friends enjoyed the dinner restaurant more than once. Breakfast continental, fresh and tasty and beautifully clean and inviting room with view onto the small terrace. Beds very comfortable. Easy access to everything in the town. Staff happy to arrange fast arriving taxi. Free wifi.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Walking distance from the harbour and the shopping street. Unloading luggage from your car is a bit uncomfortable, because there is no parking place in front of the hotel. If you are with a car, parking is on the street or in a parking garage, not free though.
The staff is not very friendly. They help you, but it doesn't look like they like doing it. We also had a question about taxi's in Sete Cidades, because we wanted to make a walk, but the receptionist looked like we were crazy and she never heard of people taking a taxi from that place!
The breakfast is ok. Nothing fancy. Croissants maybe a bit dry. And also here the staff is not looking very friendly.
The room is very classic, with lots of wood and hard mattresses. There is a bath and the water pressure is good. But nothing special.
