The Rossio is a lovely hostel, close to the train station, good walking distance from everywhere and rooms were very clean. Some absolutely gorgeous Portuguese views from the windows! The only negative was the lack of elevator which was a bit tough with the bag. Would recommend.

Stayed in this hostel (in a private room with a great view of Rossio square and the castle) for two nights. Extremely clean room and bathroom with friendly staff. Excellent location nearby to the Metro station and Rossio train station and near main city centre and shopping area. Cooked breakfast was an added bonus!

This was a lovely, albeit, quiet hostel; if I was looking for a busy hostel where I could meet lots of people I probably wouldn't choose this hostel although it may be very different during the summer!

Overall, I had a great stay and this hostel offers excellent value for money.

I spent only one night here,I was alone in a 4-bed room(it was off-season). Close to metro station, cheap price, excellent location, helpful staff, the room, the bathroom and the kitchen was perfectly clean. On the other hand it was a bit noisy and keep in mind that there is no elevator.

It was the best hostel I've stayed in! The location is perfect, it's within walking distance of a lot of the main attractions. We booked a private room, it was spacious and spotless. The bathrooms were very clean too, breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful.

My two friends and I booked this hostel on short notice for one night before going to Lagos the next day. It was incredibly quick and easy to find the hostel (our cab driver pointed it out), and check in was easy. This was impressive as we had not organised to have a third booked in, and the girl on reception quickly amended our booking and made it a painless process.

The communal bathrooms were incredibly clean and spacious, with the rooms being the same. Our only pet peeve was the level of Mosquitos that attacked us in the night! Because the room is hot, we had to leave the window open.
